Nvidia CEO Slams Managers for Discouraging AI Use in Workplace

In a recently-leaked internal all-hands meeting, Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, sharply criticized managers within the company who had reportedly advised their teams to reduce use of artificial intelligence (AI). He challenged the notion with pointed language: “My understanding is Nvidia has some managers who are telling their people to use less AI. Are you insane?”

Huang made clear that at Nvidia every task that can be automated with AI should be. “I want every task that is possible to be automated with artificial intelligence to be automated with artificial intelligence,” he said. He also reassured the workforce that using AI does not mean their jobs are in jeopardy. “I promise you, you will have work to do,” he told employees.

Within the meeting, Huang encouraged employees to embrace tools — for example, Nvidia’s own AI-coding assistant called “Cursor” — even if these tools are not yet perfect. His message: use them, push them, improve them: “Use it until it does … jump in and help make it better, because we have the power to do so.”
