Global Leaders ready to Unite at Bharat Summit in Telangana on April 25-26

With the prestigious Bharat Summit taking place on April 25th and 26th, Telangana is buzzing with over 450 delegates from more than 100 countries that will enlighten the theme “Delivering Global Justice", which marks the 70th anniversary of the historic Bandung Conference that sowed the seeds of the Non-Aligned Movement. This high profile event is jointly organised by the Government of Telangana and the Samruddha Bharat Foundation.
The official logo of the summit was unveiled by many horary dignitaries including, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister for Industries Duddilla Sridhar Babu, and senior Congress leaders including Salman Khurshid, Meenakshi Natarajan, and Gurdeep Sappal.
Participation from influential global policymakers, ministers, parliamentarians, party heads, leading academics, and civil society champions of over 25 international think tanks will take place in this two-day conference.
"The Bharat Summit is poised to be a landmark gathering of over 450 global minds, including 40-50 ministers, 50 senators and MPs, nearly 100 progressive parties and 100 domain experts," Deputy CM Vikramarka stated. "Our hope is to establish this summit as a permanent forum for all forces advocating for a democratic, liberal, and equitable world."
Indian Overseas Congress Chairman Sam Pitroda struck a powerful note on the summit’s global context. "In a time when democracy is under siege and the world is being split into economic and political blocs, India has the responsibility to show that a moral and just path is still possible. This summit is the beginning of a global progressive movement,” Pitroda said.
It is anticipated that the Bharat summit would become an annual event, strengthening Telangana's position on the global stage and advancing India's developing voice in international issues.
