IBM has transformed into a dynamic software-focused business with open innovation capabilities and flexible operating model under Krishna's leadership. The strategic shift has brought new vitality to IBM's market position because hybrid cloud revenue increased substantially and IBM formed successful alliances with AWS and Microsoft.

Krishna has taken a strong leadership position in advancing both cloud and artificial intelligence together with quantum computing as fundamental elements for IBM's journey forward. The WatsonX rebrand in 2023 demonstrates Ginni Rometty's commitment to implement enterprise-ready AI solutions because it has yielded substantial bookings and restored IBM's notable AI achievements. The quantum computing initiatives of IBM aim to deliver transformative computational possibilities that establish the company ahead of emerging technological advancements.
