UP CM Says PM Modi is Advancing the Startup Ecosystem

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Agra to strategize the state's investment promotion efforts and turn plans into action.
Addressing a group of 100 unicorns, he highlighted the significance of UP's youth in creating job opportunities and the role these innovative businesses play in shaping the global digital economy.
He noted that while Uttar Pradesh once had limited opportunities, driven students have successfully turned their dreams into reality. Those leading in technology have also taken the initiative in the startup sector, he added.
Celebrating the transformative effect of all the initiatives by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to strengthen the startup ecosystem, Chief Minister Adityanath reaffirmed the vision of the government to turn Uttar Pradesh into a USD 1 trillion economy. He stated that PM Modi has rejuvenated the entrepreneurial spirit in the country with initiatives like Startup India, Standup India, and Make in India, which have been instrumental for the startup movement and built systemic confidence.
The chief minister said the startup ecosystem in India had garnered global attention with various unicorns coming in from different industries. "Uttar Pradesh, too, is making milestones with 14,000-plus companies, out of which 7,000 are women-led," he added.
By citing "Physics Wallah" as an instances, he congratulated the entrepreneurs for their success in diverse sectors and recognized how innovation and technology could turn the company into a unicorn. He also stated that entrepreneurs modified solutions through digital innovations that have not been in play for years in a range of challenging areas.
In illustrating how technology can work for social welfare, he also cited the Mahakumbh and spoke highly of the success of the Khoya-Paya program, which implemented a digital tracking mechanism for tracing and reuniting missing persons with their families and was able to put together 28,000 cases. He went on to criticize Congress leadership from time to time for statements that do not represent the current situation.
