US President Donald Trump delivered a final warning to Hamas, stating his demand for the release of all Gaza hostages. The warning arrives during elevated diplomatic initiatives between the United States and Hamas representatives who are holding talks through Qatar after being sent as envoys from the White House following the 1997 declaration of Hamas as a foreign terrorist organization.

President Trump sent a firm statement that made all uncertainties disappear. "'Shalom Hamas' means Hello and Goodbye - You can choose," he wrote, urging Hamas to release the hostages and return the bodies of those killed, or face dire consequences. "I am sending Israel everything it needs to finish the job, not a single Hamas member will be safe if you don’t do as I say," Trump accused the organization while saying they display sick and twisted behavior regarding their handling of dead bodies. Trump also addressed the residents of Gaza, warning. "If you hold hostages, you are DEAD! Make a SMART decision. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW, OR THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY LATER" while promising a "beautiful future" if they comply.

The Israeli government reports that Hamas controls both 24 surviving hostages and the remains of at least 35 people that include one American citizen. During his recent meeting with former hostages Trump expressed both the group's destructive actions and his warning for Hamas leaders to depart Gaza Territory "while you still have a chance."

Presidential spokesman Karoline Leavitt defended the White House decision to meet Hamas through his authorization of "talk to anyone" to support the American citizenry. The mediation between Hamas and the US and Israel used to be handled through Egyptian and Qatari intermediaries before the adoption of direct communication proved to be a noteworthy change.

The rise in tensions shows the critical nature of ending the hostage situation according to President Trump as he combines peace negotiations with warnings about massive Israeli support if Hamas does not yield.
