Sophie Hasell Named Chief Revenue Officer at AfriGIS

With over 25 years of experience in sales and business development in the IT industry, Sophie is a highly motivated and results-oriented strategic leader. Under Sophie, AfriGIS sales and revenue strategies will cover all markets, but with particular emphasis on advancing the company's footprint throughout Africa. She will take the lead on forming new partnerships, developing corporate strategy in these markets, and increasing customer engagement. In addition, Sophie will support market sector targeting, ensuring that Agri-GIS's geospatial data solutions fit the increasing requirements of these sectors.
With gained knowledge and expertise in managing virtual teams and global opportunities, Sophie is famous for driving complex sales and delivery objectives. She has led from the front on sales initiatives at Ernst & Young SA, Microsoft South Africa, and T-Systems South Africa, all three of which especially benefited from her contributions in driving substantial growth and enabling progressive transformational business results. Being heavy in sales, business development, and leadership, she was attracted to AfriGIS and will build upon its sturdy foundation.
