The Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal Alibrahim, met up with his Finnish counterpart, the Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs Wille Rydman for talks on boosting economic and trade relations between Saudi Arabia and Finland. Notably, matters had already bordered on identifying areas for cooperation among various sectors like technology, clean energy, and infrastructure. They were very optimistic about growth in areas of mutual interest that they can explore through joint ventures and investments which fall in line with the goals that Saudi Arabia has set in Vision 2030. In this light, economic ties between the two nations are being deepened.
In such an environment, there was an opportunity to discuss the big global economic context and developments being shared that could really be enjoyed. The two countries had a good exchange of information and strategies that might be used to address today's challenges and get the best out of the forthcoming opportunities. This serves as a reminder of the strong commitment of both countries towards enhancing not only their bilateral relationship but also their economic partnership on the global stage. In other words, they are both into the doldrums of converging new trends in economic terms, such as making it more difficult for these countries to enable growth through cooperation and innovation.
