Lamborghini has appointed Christian Mastro as the new Chief Executive Officer of Lamborghini America, marking a leadership change in one of the company's most important markets.

Starting July 1, Mastro will oversee Lamborghini's operations across North and South America, taking over from Andrea Baldi, who has led the regional business since 2021.

The appointment comes as the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer continues expanding its electrified vehicle lineup while enjoying strong demand from customers around the world.

Experienced Executive Takes Charge of a Key Global Market

Mastro brings more than two decades of experience in the luxury automotive industry and has held several leadership positions within Lamborghini. Before this appointment, he served as Interim CEO of Lamborghini America and was responsible for supporting the company's regional operations.

Based at Lamborghini America's headquarters in Reston, Virginia, Mastro will lead the company's business strategy across the region, working closely with dealerships, customers, and business partners to strengthen Lamborghini's presence in the Americas.

Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann said Mastro's broad international experience and deep understanding of the brand make him the right choice to guide the company through its next stage of growth.

Since joining Lamborghini in 2004, Mastro has built an extensive international career. He previously led the company's Asia-Pacific business before taking charge of operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as EMEA Region Director. Between 2018 and 2021, he served as Commercial Director at Bugatti before returning to Lamborghini as Global Marketing Director.

In that role, he helped strengthen Lamborghini's global brand image by leading marketing campaigns and customer engagement initiatives at major international events, including Monterey Car Week and Art Basel Miami. His experience across sales, marketing, and regional management is expected to support Lamborghini's continued growth in the Americas.

Leadership Change Comes as Lamborghini Expands its Hybrid Lineup

The leadership transition comes at an important time for Lamborghini as the company completes the electrification of its vehicle portfolio. Its latest models, including the Revuelto V12 hybrid, the Temerario sports car, and the Urus SE plug-in hybrid SUV, reflect Lamborghini's strategy of combining high-performance engineering with modern hybrid technology.

Even as the automotive industry moves toward electrification, demand for Lamborghini's vehicles remains strong, with many models sold out well in advance. The Americas, especially the United States, continues to be one of the company's largest and most valuable markets, making strong regional leadership increasingly important.

In his new role, Mastro will focus not only on driving sales but also on strengthening relationships with dealerships and customers while supporting the launch of Lamborghini's growing hybrid portfolio. His leadership is expected to help the company maintain its momentum as customer expectations continue to evolve.
