KACST Awards Licenses for Modular Construction and Carbon Nanotube Commercialization

As part of the Public Investment Fund and Private Sector Forum, the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) announced the issuance of two technology licenses to Al-Seif Engineers & Contractors for the commercialization of modular construction and carbon nanotube technologies.

The issuance of these technology licenses supports KACST’s mission as a national research hub, transforming R&D into market-ready products, driving innovation, expanding deep-tech applications, and advancing technological development. It also contributes to increasing local content and adding value to national industries.

The technology licenses for the "Modular Construction Technologies" and "Carbon Nanotube Technologies" projects align with the Kingdom's Vision goals to advance the construction sector. They focus on innovations in building materials, cutting-edge construction technologies like robotics and automation, and sustainable green buildings, all aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and sustainability in research support.
