Jill Santos Takes the Helm as SAP Philippines Managing Director

SAP, a software company, has named Jill Santos as the new managing director of SAP Philippines, putting her at the forefront of the company's efforts to assist businesses with their digital transformation journey. She brings more than 15 years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, and enterprise technology to the role.

Santos will be in charge of SAP's efforts to help Philippine businesses embrace cloud-based solutions, apply AI-driven innovations, and strengthen the resilience of their supply chains. In order to make sure that companies are equipped to handle the evolving digital economy, she will also concentrate on promoting sustainable business practices.

"The digital economy is poised for continued expansion, and the tech industry in the Philippines is experiencing rapid growth," stated Verena Siow, managing director and president of SAP Southeast Asia. "We thank Rudy Abrahams for his valuable contributions over the past 2.5 years and welcome Jill to lead SAP Philippines into its next phase of growth."

Siow stated that Santos' extensive market knowledge and commitment to providing value to customers and partners will strengthen SAP's position as a trusted leader.

Santos has served on the SAP Philippines leadership team, most recently as enterprise sales director. In that role, she collaborated closely with major private and public-sector businesses, assisting them in implementing technology solutions to improve operations. She was instrumental in managing customer relationships and advancing the company's local strategy. Now, as managing director, she will report directly to Siow.

"As the Philippines accelerates its digital transformation agenda through initiatives like the National AI Strategy Roadmap 2.0 and the Digital Government Masterplan 2023-2028, the adoption of AI and cloud technologies is reshaping industries and opening doors to innovation," Santos stated. 

She stated that SAP's mission is to help more organizations become intelligent, sustainable enterprises by leveraging transformative technologies to create value, drive resilience, and contribute meaningfully to the nation's progress.

Before joining SAP, Santos held leadership positions at global technology companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM, where she gained experience in enterprise solutions, business strategy, and digital transformation. Her experience managing large-scale technology projects and working with a variety of industries qualifies her to lead SAP Philippines in strengthening its position as a trusted technology partner to businesses in the country.
