Jerrie Tan Rejoins Eugene Thuraisingam as Partner

Singapore law firm Eugene Thuraisingam has reappointed litigator Jerrie Tan as a partner, following her tenure as counsel at K&L Gates Straits Law.
Having actually engaged Eugene Thuraisingam into her employment in 2013, Tan has really now came back after working at K&L Gates Straits Law for eight years, gaining a wealth of experience in commercial disputes and corporate investigations, most of which she got under the mentorship of Narayanan Sreenivasan SC, the former managing partner of the law firm's practice.
This is expected to strengthen Eugene Thuraisingam's China and regional practice, further enhancing its capabilities within dispute resolution, criminal defense, and corporate investigations in general. Fluent in Mandarin, Tan's practice also caters for Mandarin-speaking clients most notably from China.
Tan has over 40 reported judgments of the Supreme Court of Singapore and has appeared as lead counsel in international arbitration cases at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. Her clients comprise both publicly-listed companies and multinationals.
Aside from her commercial practice, Tan frequently undertakes representations of individuals charged with capital offenses on a pro bono basis. She is also among the youngest female lawyers to be appointed to the Lead Counsel panel for capital offense cases in Singapore.
