Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testified in a closed-door session before the Republican-led House Oversight Committee as part of an investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
Clinton denied knowing about Epstein’s crimes, meeting him, or visiting his properties. She was questioned for over seven hours in Chappaqua, New York, after resisting subpoenas.
Clinton emphasized that she had no connection to Epstein’s criminal activities, stating she never encountered him or his properties. She criticized the Republican-led inquiry, suggesting it aimed to deflect attention from Donald Trump’s own ties to Epstein. Clinton called the questions "unusual," citing inquiries into debunked topics like UFOs and the "Pizzagate" conspiracy. She also urged for transparency, asking that Trump testify and that all related government records be fully released.
