Google appoints Preeti Lobana as Country Manager and Vice President for India

Google has announced the appointment of Preeti Lobana as its new Country Manager and Vice President for India. With eight years of experience as Vice President of Customer-Centric Solutions at Google, Lobana will now lead Google India's sales and operations. In this role, she will be instrumental in shaping Google's strategy to harness the transformative potential of AI for all customers, driving innovation across the country.

Possessing more than 30 years of stringent senior leadership experience in both technology and finance sectors, Lobana has gathered an incredible knowledge of the transforming Indian landscape. It has been more or less an equal focus of business transformation, operating excellence, and customer experience throughout her long career. She has now moved on to becoming a Vice President at Google in charge of gTech-Process, Partner, Publisher Operations, Ads, Content, and Quality Operations-grooming a worldwide team and leading innovative advertising solutions and support for Google's clients and partners.

Before joining Google, Lobana held leadership roles at NatWest Group, American Express, Standard Chartered Bank, and ANZ Grindlays Bank, where she developed her expertise in business strategy, product management, and operational excellence across various markets in India.
