Engineius provides vehicle logistics and vehicle movement services through a digital platform that allows businesses to book, track and manage vehicle transportation online. The system connects dealerships, fleet operators and service providers with a network of drivers and transport agents across the United Kingdom.

Jones will succeed company co-founder Chris Clibbery, who has led Engineius as chief executive since the business was established. Clibbery will continue supporting the company in a part-time role and will remain involved in its strategic direction while the leadership transition takes place.

Engineius was founded in 2018 and has built a nationwide logistics network that includes hundreds of drivers, transport agents and service partners. The platform supports vehicle movements for dealerships, fleet companies, rental providers, accident management businesses and vehicle repair networks.

Jones said he was pleased to join the organisation and acknowledged the work already done by the founding team in building the company and its platform. He noted that the business has developed a strong operational base and that his focus will be on strengthening its services and expanding its reach across the automotive sector.

Engineius chairman Mark Jannaway said the company believes Jones’ industry knowledge and experience in digital automotive businesses will help guide the organisation as it continues to grow. He added that the leadership change is part of the company’s plans to strengthen its position in vehicle logistics services.

Demand for vehicle transportation and logistics services has increased as dealerships, fleet operators and automotive businesses rely more on organised vehicle movement systems. Companies are increasingly adopting digital platforms that allow them to manage transportation, scheduling and tracking more efficiently.
