DCLO Strengthens Leadership Team with Kris Daswani's Appointment

Hong Kong-based boutique firm David Cameron Law Office (DCLO) has appointed Kris Daswani as a partner, bringing on board a seasoned lawyer with over 25 years of experience at leading financial institutions like Standard Chartered, JPMorgan, and Citigroup.
Until July of last year, Daswani was the managing director and global head of legal for transaction banking at Standard Chartered. She has also held senior legal roles at JPMorgan and Citigroup, and prior to that, worked in private practice with Simmons & Simmons and Pinsent Masons.
Daswani brings a wealth of expertise in cross-border banking transactions, specializing in areas such as cash management, digital payments, commodity and trade finance, as well as funds and securities services, including custody and prime finance. He has also provided advisory services on financing transactions throughout Asia and the Middle East.

This appointment marks DCLO's third partner hire in just five months, following the arrivals of Aoife Griffin and Matthew Love in October and November 2024, respectively. The firm, founded in 2021, aims to double its size by the end of the year.
