South Korean electronics behemoth Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S25, its newest flagship smartphone. The Galaxy S25 will also be produced at Samsung's Noida plant in India, according to JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia.

Samsung's research and development center in Bengaluru, the company's largest such facility outside of South Korea, makes significant contributions to the Galaxy S25 series, which includes the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25. According to Park, this state-of-the-art R&D center was essential in improving the new lineup's AI capabilities.

Samsung Galaxy S25: Innovating technology

A specially designed Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy powers the Galaxy S25, providing its AI features with exceptional on-device processing performance. Additionally, it presents the next-generation ProVisual camera system, which offers sophisticated tools for both photography and videography.

According to Park, "We believe the Galaxy S25 series will surpass the popularity of the Galaxy S24." Park expressed confidence in the new launch. He added that among the most ardent users of Samsung's AI tools, like the enhanced "circle to search" feature, are Indian customers. Users can now easily identify phone numbers, emails, and URLs thanks to this feature, which makes it possible to access websites, emails, and phone calls with just a single tap.

The top-tier Galaxy S25 Ultra model has a 6.9-inch QHD+ screen, a powerful 5,000mAh battery, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera sensor (upgraded from 12MP). Samsung declared that the S25 will be the first Galaxy smartphone to use batteries composed of at least 50% recycled cobalt, which was obtained from outdated Galaxy devices or discarded batteries during manufacturing, in a notable sustainability initiative.

President and Head of Samsung's Mobile Experience Business TM Roh spoke at the launch, saying, "The Galaxy S25 series introduces an AI-integrated operating system that redefines the way we interact with technology and live our lives."
