With over 20 years of experience in IT and business management, she played a pivotal role in Beiersdorf's digital transformation. Annette's career began after completing her doctorate and a two-year program in China, which included language training and work experience. She started as an IT systems analyst at Procter & Gamble in Germany in 1999, progressing through various regional and global IT positions. In 2015, she transitioned to Henkel as Corporate Vice President for IT Process Consulting and Enterprise Architecture, where she implemented strategic enterprise architecture and managed global application lifecycle across all business functions and technologies, including areas like product and industrial IoT, advanced analytics, and robotics. In May 2020, Annette joined Beiersdorf as CIO and Managing Director of BSS IT. She led the modernization of the IT function and spearheaded the digital transformation of the company. Her initiatives focused on modernizing e-commerce, supply chain systems, and enabling data-driven marketing. Under her leadership, Beiersdorf advanced its digital capabilities to meet the evolving demands of the consumer goods industry.
