Uday Kotak and Prasoon Joshi Receive Honours at 2025 IAA Leadership Awards

The India Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) hosted the 12th edition of its prestigious Leadership Awards at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, celebrating business, marketing, and creative leaders shaping India’s corporate landscape.
Uday Kotak received the top honour—IAA Business Leader of the Year 2025—for his visionary leadership and enduring impact on India’s financial sector. Advertising veteran Prasoon Joshi was inducted into the IAA Hall of Fame for his decades-long influence in the creative industry.

IAA Leadership Awards Chairperson Nandini Dias described the event as honouring leaders “destined to leave a mark on the global stage.” The selection process assessed over 2,000 companies across 14 categories, with a jury led by Colgate-Palmolive India’s Prabha Narasimhan.
Reflecting the event’s AI theme, robots presented trophies to winners. More than 300 senior figures from marketing, media, and business attended.

Key winners included Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri (Brand Endorsers of the Year), Senthil Kumar of VML (Creative Agency Head), Mohit Joshi of Havas Media (Media Agency Head), and Kevin Vaz of JioStar (Media Person).
IAA India President Abhishek Karnani emphasised sustainability, announcing carbon offsetting for the event and initiatives on skilling and AI integration.
